Jamulus is free sofware that allows musicians to collaborate in real-time over the internet. It works quite well, depending on how close the user are gographically.
Jamulus consists of servers and clients.
In the diagram at the right, in the center we see a server out in the internet cloud. This server provides a "room" where people can enter, and play together.
Connected to this server, like spokes in a wheel, we see multiple musicians. These clients. These people use the Jamulus client software to connect to the Server.
right now, out on the internest, there are over 200 Jamulus server "rooms." KalamaJam hosts several of these.

“Born & raised in Detroit, MI, Verzell is a Rock & Roll singer/ multi-instrumentalist who first arose on the musical radar with the 2016 release of the experimental single “Love Is Like a Drug.” Verzell has deep roots in multiple genres of music ( Rock, Soul, Blues, etc.), thus his colorful background & signature falsetto inflection makes him stand out amongst his musical peers. Key influences include The Rolling Stones, Lenny Kravitz, and Terence Trent D'Arby. His live performances consists of his band "Verzell & the Ego Trip," with music director At-Will on drums, and Ian Griffiths on bass. What’s next for Verzell? With the Classic Rock undertones of his 2023 EP “Indie Rock & Whisky," the follow-up 2024 single release of ‘Cursed Man,’ and the 2025 release of "Carmina," he has a lot in store for music lovers & enthusiasts alike!”
