Jamulus is free sofware that allows musicians to collaborate in real-time over the internet. It works quite well, depending on how close the user are gographically.
Jamulus consists of servers and clients.
In the diagram at the right, in the center we see a server out in the internet cloud. This server provides a "room" where people can enter, and play together.
Connected to this server, like spokes in a wheel, we see multiple musicians. These clients. These people use the Jamulus client software to connect to the Server.
right now, out on the internest, there are over 200 Jamulus server "rooms." KalamaJam hosts several of these.

The Incantations
The Incantations weave a delicate tapestry of dark and light, blending elements of blues, rock, and folk music that embody Americana. Lisa Mackie and Ryan Gladding conjure up evocative lyrics that etch an indelible mark in your memory, with melodies that resonate long after the last note fades. Joe Garcia’s dynamic drumming propels each song forward, adding a rhythmic layer that intensifies the storytelling and complements the band’s emotive sound. The music that they summon is a powerful reflection of the roads they have traveled.
