Sophia McIntosh is a full-time working musician. She performs multiple times a month as a solo artist, a member of a duo, and the front woman for an incredibly talented group of 18-year-old musicians, Sophia McIntosh & the Sages. Industry leaders describe Sophia’s vocal tone as similar to Adele, Lauren Daigle, and Carol King. It is no surprise that Sophia chose music as her career, she was born and raised into a musical family, singing and performing at a very early age. As early as age five, Sophia was developing her vocals and performance through musical theatre and competitive dance. She was also lucky enough to have formal vocal training with Tony Award Winner Alice Ripley. After refining her musical skills, Sophia began composing her own music at the age of thirteen. In 2019 she connected with Matt Wilder, an accomplished Producer in Nashville. She recorded with some legendary Nashville studio musicians such as Lonnie Wilson, Jerry McPherson, Jerry Kimbrough, and Gary Lunn. Although most of her music was written and developed on her own, she also enjoyed co-writes with two-time Grammy Award Winner Rebecca Lynn Howard, Industry legend Rick Beresferd, and others. Sophia’s music is best described as fresh, talented pop music with very seasoned vocals. She has released many songs on all streaming platforms. As of 2024, she has been streamed over a million times.
