Jamulus consists of servers and clients.
In the diagram at the right, in the center we see a server out in the internet cloud. This server provides a "room" where people can enter, and play together.
Connected to this server, like spokes in a wheel, we see multiple musicians. These clients. These people use the Jamulus client software to connect to the Server.
right now, out on the internest, there are over 200 Jamulus server "rooms." KalamaJam hosts several of these.

Kenny Olson is a multi-platinum guitarist from Detroit, Michigan, who has performed with Aerosmith, Metallica, Run DMC, Hank Williams, Jr. Sheryl Crow, Billy Gibbons, Billy Cox, Buddy Miles, Les Paul, Buddy Guy, Bootsy Collins, Chaka Khan, Faith Evans, and Mick Mars. He was Kid Rock’s lead guitarist for eleven years performing around the world with dozens of television appearances, including Super Bowl XXXVIII. Kenny is currently lead guitarist for BEYOND THE WALL, the Pink Floyd experience by THINK: EXP that includes live music and 360 Virtual Reality graphics in the dome. The all-star ensemble includes Olson, saxophonist Scott Page (Pink Floyd), drummer Stephen Perkins (Jane’s Addiction), and bass player Norwood Fisher (Fishbone). Past projects include the Experience Hendrix Tours, the Jimi Hendrix Tribute CD performing “Little Wing” with Chaka Khan, and the Les Paul and Friends CD recording “I Love You More Than You’ll Ever Know” with Joe Perry of Aerosmith and Mick Hucknall of Simply Red.
