Jamulus consists of servers and clients.
In the diagram at the right, in the center we see a server out in the internet cloud. This server provides a "room" where people can enter, and play together.
Connected to this server, like spokes in a wheel, we see multiple musicians. These clients. These people use the Jamulus client software to connect to the Server.
right now, out on the internest, there are over 200 Jamulus server "rooms." KalamaJam hosts several of these.

Persian Rugg
Persian Rugg is the current musical moniker of Juan Gaviria (he/they), a Colombian American artist residing in Kalamazoo, MI. The project was originally started in 2019 whilst residing in his hometown of Weston, FL. Though all of the project’s studio works are an entirely solo effort, live performances are always a unique experience. Whether it’s an electrifying set featuring other talented musicians from the scene, or a more free-flowing and intimate solo acoustic set, Persian Rugg’s music is all about balance set in an experimental indie rock/folk setting.
